Have you thought about presenting the iSCSI LUNs to the DataCore server and from there presenting it out to the app servers? That way you get around that and you are managing the storage to your apps server from the same location

Hi,

we have a W2K3R2 SP2 Server, 32 bit as an application server. This server has Datacore MPIO installed to access four LUNs on a SANMelody 2.0 via Fibre Channel.
These LUNs are combined as one big dynamic volume.

Now we would like to attach a iSCSI device from a different vendor. For that we need MS iSCSI Initiator.
We do not want to use Microsoft MPIO.

Do you think there will be an problems when installing MS iSCSI Initiator an that system already running Datacore MPIO (using FC)?

Any hints are really appreciated!
