SANmelody MPIO software option provides true high availability when used in conjunction with the Auto Failover option. Simply load the software on each of your critical Windows application servers and it will handle a seamless transition to a secondary path in the event of a failure of the primary path. (Note: To operate, this functionality requires purchase of a pair of SANmelody servers with Auto Failover option licenses on both).
IMPORTANT NOTES: The Windows MPIO (Multipath I/O) product provides high availability for iSCSI and/or Fibre Channel infrastructure implementations.
