SANmelody™ Category C

Great choice for building disk servers that will protect business critical data. The addition of the Auto Failover option enables you to keep redundant copies of data to protect against outages and data loss (Note: This functionality requires purchase of a pair of SANmelody with Auto Failover option licenses on both). Handles greater capacity and provides even more performance and bandwidth than SANmelody A and B; includes Fibre Channel network connectivity in the base price. In addition, the powerful and unique Auto Provisioning option is available that presents very large virtual volumes to applications but only allocates disk blocks dynamically as the application consumes it (this "just-in-time" storage allocation option maximizes disk space utilzation and enhances productivity through automation). Category C now includes the optional cost-effective Asynchronous IP Mirroring feature per disk server for remote long distance and disaster recovery site data protection. This option will also support up to 8 AIM Client connections.
