Deleting Unavailable DataCore Server Ports

It is possible to remove Fibre Channel (FC) and iSCSI ports that are displaying a "not present" state. When a port is in a "not present" state, these port icons ( FC , iSCSI ) will be displayed in the DataCore Servers panel. The port status is also displayed in the detail pages of the ports and in the System Health tool.

In order to delete the port, the port cannot be served to a host or have mirror paths. See the Fibre Channel Port Details page>Virtual Disks tab to verify paths. Also see Replacing Ports and Adapter Cards.

To delete the port:

  • In DataCore Servers panel, right-click the server port and select Delete Port.

Refreshing the Port Database

It is possible to refresh the list to remove ports that are displayed as not present or logged out.

To refresh the port database:

  • In DataCore Servers panel, right-click the server port and select Refresh Port Database.
