Role – Inside Sales / Junior Account Manager Northern Europe

We are looking to build a world class inside sales organization to support our senior sales leadership team, by generating net new opportunities to drive and grow sales pipeline.  Thus, we are looking for Business Development/Inside Sales stars to assist in these efforts!

This role will be based in the UK, ideally out of our Reading office, in Berkshire.  It requires a self-starter who works with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed targets in partnership with our field sales team.  Below is a list of what we’re looking for and the duties needed be successful in this role. 


Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify ideal customer profiles and perform cold outreach to drive sales pipeline and top of funnel growth
  • Call into leads generated from our marketing efforts to drive quality net new opportunities, and consistent pipeline revenue growth
  • Call into existing clients to generate new opportunities by cross selling other technologies in our portfolio
  • Qualify marketing leads in a fast yet efficient manner, and provide internal feedback on campaign results
  • Consistent outreach activity using different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, LinkedIn, etc
  • Work closely with Sales Directors to facilitate a smooth hand-off from early qualification to close
  • Perform lead qualification calls to determine which of our products is the best fit for the prospect
  • Work with sales leaders and enablement on coaching, sales strategies and campaigns
  • Assist in channel recruitment of new resellers and joint efforts with existing resellers. (joint calls with reps, prospecting assistance)
  • Occasionally support sales and marketing with onsite presence at trade shows


  • Start-up technology company experience strongly preferred
  • An understanding of industry of SAN/NAS/Object storage is an advantage, however not essential as training will be given
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology/software sales -Inside Sales/Account Management
  • Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational, verbal and written
  • Manage large customer call volume on a daily basis through strong phone presence and effective communication
  • Driven to get results and achieve goals while maintaining top level integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, team player, and “Hunter” mentality to drive new qualified pipeline generation/growth


  • 2 yrs.+ of relevant experience (data storage, complementary technology, or specific vertical (media/entertainment, HPC)
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology/software sales -Inside Sales/Account Management
  • Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas
