Sr. Manager – Salesforce Development

Role:

  • Partner with Business Leaders to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions technology strategy and architecture, keeping in mind alignment with business processes.
  • Manage a team of Salesforce developers, QA etc and ensure successful delivery of projects across multiple locations on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Collaborate and work with stakeholders across Business, IT, BI and Engineering to drive cross functional projects.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications and inhouse applications.
  • Provide best practice recommendations for Salesforce and related corporate projects.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and recommend solutions beyond Salesforce to meet business needs.
  • Develop and build solutions on force.com platform using OOB features, Flows, Apex, LWC, Web Services and API’s.
  • Improve quality and completeness of technical documentation.
  • Be a key stakeholder for the change management and development process.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Deep knowledge and experience of Sales processes and Salesforce’s suite of products across all SDLC phases.
  • Strong proficiency with Force.com Platform skills like Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), Visualforce, SOQL, Unit Testing etc.
  • Thorough understanding of data models for SaaS, Enterprise and Hardware business, design considerations and connected web services.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua or similar marketing solutions.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce DX, source-driven development using Git/Github or similar version control system, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as part of DevOps process.
  • 14+ years of experience leveraging Salesforce sales cloud platform features and building custom solutions on Salesforce and other integrated applications.
  • 4+ years of mentoring and training junior developers and administrators.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating business applications using platforms like Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Workato etc and APIs.
  • 4+ years of experience in team management and project delivery.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.
  • Support program estimations by helping to size relative efforts, identify gaps, dependencies, assumptions, and unspoken non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams, review solutions and recommending improvements.
  • Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders on the project.
  • Own the design of Salesforce and other affiliated solutions for sales, service, and platform solutions.
  • Act as a release manager, approving configuration, and coded items to be deployed between environments. Where appropriate, this could include deploying changes.
  • Act as a data champion providing technical solutions for ensuring data integrity, reliability, and security in the systems.
  • Ability to drive clarity within complexity and a high degree of ambiguity to simplify and clearly communication a technical vision and roadmap aligned to business outcomes.
  • Ability to decompose technical concept as required to mentor other junior members of the team.
  • Bring a positive and encouraging attitude in all problems and challenges you face each day.
  • Assist in quality management reviews, ensure all business and design requirements are met. 
  • Drive the CRM systems full automation and Digital business.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. Masters in tech or management will be an added plus.
  • Solid experience developing Salesforce CRM solution with domain knowledge of building CRM for IT, Media & entertainment and Healthcare
  • Demonstrable design capability in Salesforce Sales cloud, service cloud, Einstein with migration and new implementation experience.
  • Automating end to end Lead to Cash process flow leveraging capabilities like CPQ.
  • Minimum Salesforce certified.
  • Active in Salesforce Community.
  • Complete end to end understanding and capability in integration through APIs for Netsuite Celigo, Azure Data Factory, Qollabi, Funnel source, Managed packages and external interfaces etc.
  • Capability to build data model for the CRM that is secure, GDPR compliant and reliable.
  • Must have come from development experience in Apex Classes and Triggers as well as Visualforce, Lightening framework.
  • Mentor level proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript or another front-end frameworks & UI.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, present, and provide feedback to detailed technical solutions.
  • Expert level proficiency in using Salesforce data tools Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and Data Loaders etc.
  • Strong Analytical skills with ability to create reporting frameworks.
  • Multi-discipline methodologies: e.g., Agile, Lean, Iterative, Waterfall, TDD.
  • Data governance experience is a plus.
