The position offers hands-on experience in Linux systems, enterprise storage, networking, and automation within a high-performance environment. You’ll be supported by senior engineers and gain exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure technologies.Key Responsibilities: |• Support and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/Ubuntu) in production environments.• Assist in troubleshooting server, storage, application, and networking issues for global clients.• Contribute to hardware/software installations, configurations, and deployments.• Document resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledgebase.• Learn and assist with enterprise storage systems, including distributed filesystems (e.g., IBM Spectrum Scale / GPFS).• Support basic networking (VLANs, routing, switch configuration).• Exposure to automation tools (SaltStack) and scripting (Bash/Python) — training provided. Candidate Profile: • Prior experience in an IT support role — apprenticeship, service desk, or infrastructure support.• Confident working on the Linux command line, with a solid understanding of basic system administration.• Some exposure to networking, storage, or virtualisation is advantageous.• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.• Excellent communication skills — verbal and written — for working with technical teams and end users.• Motivated to learn and grow within a collaborative engineering environment.
