Sales Manager Role:

As a member of the M&E focused EMEA Sales team, the Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with prospects and resellers within the whole region.  

As we focus on growth within the UK and beyond, the main function of the role is to seek out new business opportunities to win new logos, therefore a strong hunter mentality is vital as is high levels of motivation and determination to succeed.  

You will be a strong team player that is also capable of working automatously and have a positive outlook, a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to do what it takes, to go the extra mile. 

Elevated by recent acquisitions we continue to provide the most cutting edge solutions available to the global media market and have an important story to tell, therefore previous experience in the M&E industry is vital to hit the ground running.  

You will report to and be supported by the Sales Director and will work closely with Sales Engineering and marketing teams.

Duties:

  •        Responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective customers in the region
  •        Work both directly with prospects and through resellers to deliver new business opportunities
  •        Independently manage meetings with identified prospect end-users and resellers
  •        Closely cooperate with the Sales Director, Solution Architect, and other GTM resources
  •        Ensure resellers/partners are active, engaged, and delivering on target revenue
  •        Support the reseller to close opportunities by providing the necessary information related to offerings and marketing material
  •        Hunt/Net New Customer acquisition by conducting cold calls, seeking out projects, and responding to RFPs
  •        To run lead generation campaigns to deliver meetings and opportunities
  •        Present Perifery products and value proposition to the identified prospect end-user
  •        Present the value proposition in a clear and articulated fashion
  •        Become an ambassador of Perifery products by being present at local events, trade shows, and forums
  •        Meet assigned sales quota and reporting KPIs
  •        Provision of weekly revenue forecasts to the Sales Director
  •        Quarterly evaluations of results
  •        Travel within region => 25%
  •        A good understanding of the M&E industry
  •        Hunting sales mentality and passionate about setting and achieving goals
  •        Strategic thinker with an understanding of both short-term gain and long-term potential
  •        Self-sufficient and able to think independently whilst working as part of a close team
  •        Hands-on experience with Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM systems
  •        Excellent relationship-building and networking skills are essential
  •        Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills are needed to work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals
  •        Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  •        Able to conduct technical conversations and workflow discussions
  •        Strong attention to detail
  •        Open, positive attitude, interested in Technology and how it shapes the future world
  •        Go-getter with plenty of drive, passion, and enthusiasm

Education/Experience:

  •        Bachelor’s degree or professional education
  •        2-5 years of field sales experience in the M&E industry
  •        Understanding of cloud and SaaS models is beneficial
  •        Experience presenting to and negotiating at C level
