Channel Account Manager, Americas (West & Central Regions)

Channel Account Manager

Reporting directly to the Vice President – Americas Sales, this is a fantastic opportunity for the Channel Account Manager to generate, cultivate, and expand opportunities for long-term growth through identifying and building strong relationships with resellers in the Americas market. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the effectiveness of business development opportunities for a sales organization.


  • Identify and qualify resellers in the Americas region with a focus on new customer acquisition and profitable growth
  • Independently manage meetings with identified partners
  • Present on DataCore products and the company’s value proposition
  • Analyze the region or vertical market and identify alternative ways to attract resellers
  • Participate in reseller and distributor trade fairs and marketing events
  • Manage all Gold Reseller Back-End Rebate Quarterly Business Plans
  • Ensure that the distributors are fully trained and knowledgeable to effectively sell DataCore’s products
  • Work with the distributors to establish yearly business plans and quarterly sales goals for DataCore products and services
  • Monitor the performance of all distributors and focus partners against their goals and work with each to improve their performance
  • Manage the day-to-day problem solving for all resellers and distributors
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives with the resellers and distributors that align with DataCore’s vision

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
  • 5-8 years’ experience working in a Channel Sales environment
  • 2-5 years Field Sales experience in the Enterprise IT industry
  • Experience working in the Software industry preferred
  • Hunting sales mentality and passionate about setting and achieving goals
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Empathy and project management skills
  • Structured thinking as well as independent work and teamwork are key strengths
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Open, positive attitude, interested in Technology and how it shapes the future world
