DataCore Launches AI Assistant That Turns Storage Questions into Expert Answers

DataCore AI gives administrators instant context and support expertise on demand for SANsymphony customers

FORT LAUDERDALE, USA – November 3, 2026 – DataCore, a global leader in data infrastructure and management solutions, today launched DataCore AI, a new AI assistant that brings intelligence directly into its vendor-agnostic storage technologies. By delivering actionable insights on demand, the solution helps IT teams observe, manage, and troubleshoot issues earlier within complex storage environments with greater ease and efficiency.

Available now for SANsymphony, DataCore’s flagship software-defined storage solution, DataCore AI combines operational intelligence, telemetry, product documentation and the organization’s decades of expertise to support teams with proactive decision-making around their infrastructure. The AI assistant delivers timely, contextual analysis through simple natural-language conversations, while administrators stay in control of every decision.

Unlike AI tools that only work inside a single vendor’s hardware ecosystem, DataCore AI provides insights and guidance across heterogeneous block storage environments managed by SANsymphony, without the costly constraints of vendor lock-in.

Abhi Dey, Chief Product Officer at DataCore, said: “For too long, storage teams have carried the full cognitive load of managing complex infrastructure, manually chasing alerts and piecing together clues before they can even begin to solve a problem. That model has to change, and DataCore AI is how we change it. We’re giving teams the instant information and guidance they need to make confident, proactive infrastructure decisions, dramatically reducing the time spent troubleshooting and freeing them to focus on what really matters. This is the first step in DataCore’s AI vision, and we’re just getting started.”

Administrators can ask questions such as “Why is this storage pool degraded?”, “Is this virtual disk experiencing abnormal latency?” or “Is my data protection configuration healthy?” and receive a clear answer they can act on.

The launch builds on DataCore’s own experience of implementing AI across its business, from product engineering and technical support to sales, marketing, and partner enablement. It marks a key step in the organization’s vision to extend the benefits of AI to its customers.

Marcel Opitz, Head of Datacenter at DTS Systeme GmbH, added: “As storage environments become more complex, IT teams face growing pressure to do more with less. We see great potential in DataCore AI to simplify storage management through natural-language conversations and provide administrators with contextual insights across heterogeneous storage environments. For partners like us, it creates an opportunity to deliver additional value to our customers, simplify their day-to-day operations, and help them get more from their IT investments.”

DataCore AI is now available for SANsymphony, with Swarm to follow for object storage environments, and further DataCore products planned thereafter. In the future, DataCore aims to progress from assisted insights and troubleshooting towards guided remediation and agentic workflows. DataCore AI is available to customers running SANsymphony 10.0 PSP21 or later.
