Sales expansion driven by new software that is enabling today’s server and desktop virtualisation projects worldwide
READING, UK – June 20, 2011 – DataCore Software, the industry’s premier provider of storage virtualisation software, today announced that due to the demand created with its latest generation software release, SANsymphony™- V, that it will be heavily investing and expanding the Northern European operation with an invigorated sales channel into the Nordic region.

We have also invested heavily in resources in the UK, allowing us to leverage our most experienced Sales Engineers and Sales Managers to expand our channels into the Nordics.” comments Keith Joseph, Regional Director, DataCore Software, Northern Europe. “This has resulted in key signing of a new distribution arrangement with AlphaBridge in Sweden.”

DataCore is thrilled to make two key channel announcements in the Nordics. The first is in Sweden, where Atea Sverige AB have been promoted to the Gold Partner level, the first reseller partner in the region to achieve this accolade. Atea have been responsible for much of the region’s growth momentum including key customer wins at MittMedia AB, one of the countries’ largest media companies. Per Olofsson manages the Server and Support team within MittMedia and comments on DataCore’s software: “What we have here (at MittMedia) is a solution that not only provides us with a highly available system, but also gives us a flexible template from which to seamlessly add new applications, servers, updates without downtime or great investment.”
The second announcement that covers Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland is that AlphaBridge have been signed as a distribution partner and have commenced the relationship by joining forces on a number of Storage Virtualisation events which concluded last week. AlphaBridge join Arrow ECS as distributors within Sweden. Joseph concludes, “We are actively recruiting partners and are holding webinars as to why to sell DataCore.
