DataCore Software Grows Virtualization Sales Team in EMEA with New Director for the Benelux Region and Recent Addition of Technical Consultant in France
DataCore Software continues to expand its footprint into European markets by recruiting Johan Vanhaeren as the new Director for the Benelux Region and virtualization expert Laurent Ibars as Technical Account Manager for the Southern Europe Region
PARIS and FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – October 5, 2010 – DataCore, a market leader in storage virtualization software solutions, has selected Johan Vanhaeren, based in Belgium, as Director for the Benelux Region and Laurent Ibars , based in France, as technical virtualization consultant to support partners and customers in France and the Southern Europe region. Johan Vanhaeren was the former country manager for Citrix in the Benelux region and Laurent Ibars has extensive virtualization implementation and training skills acquired over the years and most recently from his work at Trader’s in France.
Johan Vanhaeren will be responsible for managing distributors, solution providers and resellers of DataCore Software in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and growing market share in these countries. In addition, Laurent Ibars, appointed as Technical Account Manager, will have the key role of supporting and strengthening DataCore’s partners, customers and sale teams in Southern Europe.
In the first half of 2010, DataCore Software’s commercial activity in the Southern Europe region (which covers France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and the Benelux countries) grew by over 50% compared to the same period in the previous year. It was this growth and the market demand for storage virtualization which has prompted these appointments.
