DataCore’s SANmelody installation wins “Storage Virtualisation Project of the Year’ at Volkswagen Financial Services at inaugural SNS Achievement in Technology Awards

READING, UK, 19 December 2008 – Voted for by readers of SNS Europe, Data Centre Solutions and SNS UK magazines, the award recognised VWFS’ use of DataCore’s SANmelody to provide a dedicated virtualised SAN with central management, auto failover and recovery to protect its business critical data which is growing 300% year on year. The Award was received at the Carlton Jumeirah Hotel, London, and within the Storage Virtualisation Project of the Year category, DataCore beat LeftHand Networks, FalconStor Software and Pillar Data Systems.
