Operating System (Host) Compatibility

SANsymphony™ software provides virtual disks (block storage LUNs) to all of the popular host operating systems that use standard disk drives with 512 byte or 4K byte sectors.

These hosts access the virtual disks using SAN protocols, including iSCSI, Fibre Channel and Fibre Channel over Ethernet.

SANsymphony software runs on locked-down Windows Server 2012 and 2008 R2 operating systems.

Note: Mainframe operating systems such as IBM z/OS, z/TPF, z/VSE or z/VM are not supported
